(IF SOLD ON LIMITED REGISTRATION which is Pet Price) Agree to prevent the dog from breeding (even by accident) and buyer agrees to have dog spayed/ neutered within 1 year (if not sold on full registration), and present verifiable documentation to seller to keep guarantee in effect
(IF SOLD ON FULL REGISTRATION) If placed as a breeding dog: Seller is not responsible for the bitches or sires ability to breed or the quality of pups or size of the litters. It is the buyer’s sole responsibility for bills incurred from breeding this dog.
1. Starz Puppy Paw Prints warrants this puppy to be free of any infectious or contagious diseases for 2 (two) days for the effective date of the warranty. Documentation by a licensed vet should be sent to the breeder within 7 days in order for the Health Guarantee to be honored. Should this puppy be diagnosed as unhealthy during this period, Starz Puppy Paw Prints will accept the return of this puppy for a replacement with another puppy of the customer's choice of equal dollar value. If the puppy of choice is not available, Starz Puppy Paw Prints will obtain such a puppy in a reasonable time. If Starz Puppy Paw Prints can not obtain a puppy within a reasonable time the customer's money will be returned. AKC papers, if issued, must also be returned with the puppy.

2. Starz Puppy Paw Prints warrants this puppy against any congenital defects for 1 (one) year from the effective date of warranties. Should a congenital defect be diagnosed by a veterinarian as precluding the puppy from living an otherwise normal and healthy life as a Pet Quality Shih Tzu, the Breeder will be notified in writing within 48 hours of diagnosis. Starz Puppy Paw Prints will accept the return of this puppy for a replacement with another puppy of the breeder's choice of equal dollar value from the next available litter. Breeder reserves the right to a possible waiting time of 1 year to make this replacement, as puppies are not available at all times. AKC papers, if issued, must be returned with the puppy, and all documentation and veterinarian reports. The Breeder is not responsible for any veterinarian charges or fees in diagnosing or treating any illness or genetic disease. The dog will not be replaced if used for breeding, nor if any conditions resulting from abuse, neglect or accident resulting in death. If death occurs, an autopsy shall be performed at buyers expense to determine the exact cause of death. The results shall be sent in writing to the Breeder's veterinarian, prior to any replacements.

3.This guarantee does not include wormy puppies, or Gairdia. Coccidia and kennel cough which is usually caused by bacteria and is common in puppies that are shipped. Kennel cough is self-limiting and like the common cold must run its course. Full recovery is expected and on its own kennel cough is not life-threatening. This guarantee does not cover what in the Shih-Tzu breed is considered normal: cherry eye, stenotic nares, and underbites. *Umbilical hernias, open fontanels (soft spots on the skull), and pinched nostrils are very common in the Shih Tzu breed and are not a genetic hereditary or life threatening condition, and there fore not bound by this contract. Shih Tzu puppies commonly snore and snort.

The seller will assume no shipping costs associated with sale or Replacement Warranty.

4. If the seller decided that the buyer is not suited for a shih tzu puppy,seller has the right to cancel the sale before delivery of the puppy. If refund is given a cancellation fee of 100.00 will be deducted from buyers deposit for whatever reason puppy is canceled.

5.In order for you to ever make a claim under either of these warranties your puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian of your choice, and at your expense, within 48 hours of purchase.

6.Any claims relating to the health of this puppy must be accompanied by a written diagnosis, including a description of the symptoms supporting the diagnosis, and must be signed by the examining veterinarian. If the claim is for a congenital defect, Starz Puppy Paw Prints must be notified in writing and must receive the written diagnosis described above within 48 hrs. after the diagnosis is made.

Starz Puppy Paw Prints is not responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred for examination and/or treatment unless Starz Puppy Paw Prints has given prior approval for such examination and/or treatment

Starz Puppy Paw Prints warrants the puppy to be a good quality representative of its breed. However, Starz Puppy Paw Prints does not warrant this puppy to be of breeding or show quality.

The Buyer agrees that the puppy will reside at the home of the Buyer & not be chained or tied outside. This animal is sold with the understanding that it was to go to select homes, socialized properly, and become a member of the family.

The parties expressly agree that the exclusive & sole remedy for a breach of any warranty, express or implied, including the implied warranty of merchantability & implied warranty of fitness arising from the sale of this puppy is the exchange of the puppy for a puppy of equal dollar value as described herin. In no event shall Starz Puppy Paw Prints be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages, including veterinarian or medical expenses incurred in treating this puppy.

The buyer of the puppy agrees that he/she is not a puppy mill or puppy broker for pet stores and the puppy will be part of their family for it's entire life. If for some reason the buyer can no longer keep the puppy, the buyer agrees to return the puppy to Starz Puppy Paw Prints and not place the dog in another home. Once puppy is brought back to Sharon Gray previous owners rights are terminated. If the puppy is found to be used in a puppy mill or pet store, the buyer agrees to relinquish ownership of the puppy back to Starz Puppy Paw Prints.

This warranty is not transferable

No refunds will be given. ALL DEPOSITS ON DOGS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

The buyer of the puppy agrees at the time of the purchase that the puppy is in good health and of sound temperament

If there were to be a legal issue due to Breeder and Buyer not agreeing,absolutely all legal issues will be dealt within the State of IL, Lee County. And is subject to all IL Laws. Out of State Laws are not valid in this guarantee. All Attorneys will be billed to Buyer.

This Contract is non-transferable and is void if puppy changes ownership from buyer stated above. If buyer decides not to keep the puppy, Buyer agrees to offer puppy back to seller before placing the puppy in a new home.

"No Refunds Will Be Given" Due to Buyer no longer wanting the puppy/dog.
